In person and telehealth

Wherever we you are in MA & RI you can “travel” to your individual therapy appt in no time. If you plan to be in another state during your session, please discuss it with your counselor in advance as some states will allow Telehealth while you are in another state and others do not.

In-person in Providence, RI or Telehealth choice returns in June.

We offer morning, lunchtime, and afternoon appointments for individual therapy. Groups are available at various times including evenings.

Can I use my insurance benefits?

Yes, if you have out of network benefits.

When clients work with us, they pay a moderate sesssion fee at the time of each session. If they wish to apply for reimbursement for part of those costs, they submit a claim with their insurance. Since each insurance plan is unique, we recommend you check with your insurance (call/check your insurance documents/use your subscriber portal) to find out how much you might get reimbursed and what the process is prior to your first session.

why choose an OUT OF NETWORK therapist?

There are many benefits of seeing an out of network therapist, including working with an expert, being seen the week you request therapy, and increased privacy. You might even get reimbursed for some or all of your session costs if you have out of network benefits.

Here’s how seeing an out of network therapist works:

We provide all new clients with our session fees before booking their first appt. Payment is due at the time of the session. Then we provide you with a receipt you can use to complete your reimbursement request from your insurance company. You make the claim & they pay you (both according to their procedures-check in advance with your insurance if you want to know how it works).

We are happy to help you understand this process.

We are legally required to inform you that you may have a right to a Good Faith Estimate based on new federal laws implemented in Jan 2022. Contact us to request details or to request a Good Faith Estimate.
